I read the article "The future of social media according to vice" and found it interesting. Most the people interviewed in the article agreed that social media will only grow and when you look at how much it has grown over the last decade it is hard to imagine how much more advanced it will get by 2025. Like everything though it will grow significantly and will be fascinating to see its development. Jen Goldberg, a digital strategist for ad agency Wieden+Kennedy, feels that "We'll continue to see a trend towards micro-communities and one-to-one or one-to-a select few sharing over the one-to-an-anonymous many," she said. "We've cycled away from blogging and broadcasting, towards anonymous sharing and small group messaging." It is hard to disagree with her assumption.
I 'd like to thank Vera, Aideen and Marcus in my project group. I feel we worked very well as a group for 4 people who had never met. Also like to thank Shane for his help throughout the year.
